Ellie has released the music video for Figure 8, the second single from Halcyon.

Figure 8 is one of my favourite songs on the album, and the video definitely does it justice!

You can really see the emotions that the lyrics put across visualised. You really need to watch it!

Who is Ellie?

Ellie, born in Hereford, is probably best known for her number four hit 'Starry Eyed' and her cover of Elton John's 'Your Song' in the UK, and Lights in the US. She topped the BBC Sound of 2010 poll, and won the 2010 Critics' Choice Brit Award. After that 2010 just got better, with her debut album going straight in at number one. Ellie performed at most of the festivals in the summer of 2010, including Glastonbury! Her final single of 2010, 'Your Song', peaked at number two in the UK Top 40 and 2011 was another great year for Ellie, who released her debut album in America in March and performed at Coachella festival. Ellie was also chosen to play for the royal couple (William and Kate) at their after party to their wedding in April, and even appeared on Saturday Night Live with Tina Fey. She was later chosen to represent drinks brand, SoBe, in the UK. Ellie released her second album in October, entitled Halcyon, after much anticipation.
