Ellie Goulding and Greg James have officially announced their split.
It comes after rumours of a separation from October last year, when Ellie moved her belongings out of the flat she shared with Greg because it was too “cluttered”.
Apparantly, they tried to make things work but due to busy schedules hardly got time to see eachother.
Ellie spent the Christmas period on holiday with Jessie J.
Hopefully, this will mean she will have material to write about and produce new music!
Of course, we are very sorry they couldn’t make things work, as Grellie were our favourite celebrity couple.
Happy Valentines Day to everyone, I hope you’ve all had a good day. Ellie and Greg are both attending the ELLE Style Awards tonight, and I have just added some photos to the gallery of the event. Ellie looks great, and it looks like she has embraced Valentines Day by returning her hair to pink as it was for part of last year! We’ve seen platinum, blonde, pink and purple. Do you think we will ever see Ellie with green hair? Or blue? Or perhaps she will go GaGa and have teal ends? Whatever she goes for next, it will looks great!

Ellie and Greg attended the Burlesque UK Premiere last night in London, and both looked great in their tuxes. I have added some photos to the gallery of this event and will continue to do so as I get more.
Oh! If you like Ellie’s tights, that were very fitting for the Burlesque premiere, then look out for them at River Island! The tights, by Henry Holland, are also available at ASOS.

The Writer has positioned at number 19 in this weeks chart show. This is too low, it is an amazing song and needs to chart higher. Everyone buy the writer this week and let it get higher in the chart!
Oh, and according to wikipedia Ellie and Greg are engaged. Until that is confirmed by Ellie or/and Greg, I will not believe it, given Ellie’s dislike of marriage.

Ellie, born in Hereford, is probably best known for her number four hit 'Starry Eyed' and her cover of Elton John's 'Your Song'. She topped the BBC Sound of 2010 poll, and won the 2010 Critics' Choice Brit Award. After that her year just got better, with her debut album going straight in at number one. Ellie performed at most of the festivals in the summer of 2010, including Glastonbury! Her final single of 2010, 'Your Song', peaked at number two in the UK Top 40 and 2011 was another great year for Ellie, who released her debut album in America in March and performed at Coachella festival. Ellie was also chosen to play for the royal couple (William and Kate) at their after party to their wedding in April, and even appeared on Saturday Night Live with Tina Fey. She was later chosen to represent drinks brand, SoBe, in the UK. Ellie is set to release new music in 2012, and Ellie-G.com cannot wait!
