I shared some images yesterday of Ellie arriving at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards. Well, she was nominated for a few awards and… she wone Pandora Breakthrough of the Year! The Kings of Leon presented her with her award and she joked earlier on Twitter that she didn’t play it cool when she met them.

Very exciting news! Ellie has been nominated for two Brit Awards – British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act! This is great news. If you remember, this time last year Ellie was being talked about by all the critics, as it had just been announced that she had won the Critics’ Choise Award and the 2011 Brit Awards. I hope Ellie can get another, or two, Brit Awards, you deserve Ellie! You can view photos of the shortlist announcement below.

Also, you can watch Ellie performing ‘Wonderman’ with Tinie Tempah at the Announcement ceremony tomorrow night at 8pm on ITV 2!

I just saw the PopJustice 2010 People’s Poll, and noticed that Ellie had done quite well in quite a few categories! She came second in “BEST NEW ACT TO PROPERLY GET GOING IN 2010″, first in “BEST COVER VERSION” for Your Song, first in “LEAST CONTROVERSIAL ARTIST” (that’s gotta be good, right?) and ninth in “BEST ALBUM OF 2010″.
