Ellie has kept hold of her midweeks spot and moved up to number two in the official top 40 this week! That is great news!
Hopefully, with the release of Bright Lights tomorrow next week she might have a number one single and number one album!

I have been working to get this ready quickly, and during the last week I have finished it and added the first guide – the style of the month, which is T in the Park 2010. The style section is quite empty at the moment, but I will be adding more guides as the days go on.

‘Your Song’ has climed to number 2 in the chart update. The X Factor single is at number 1, but Sunday’s number 1 has slipped to number 3. I hope Ellie can keep hold of the number 2 spot or even move up into the top spot!
Also, Ellie has confirmed that her single with Tinie Tempah – Wonderman – will be coming out next year. I would post the link to the interview, but there are tons of spelling and grammar mistakes and I don’t want to inflict that upon my readers.
Oh, and some more exciting news! Ellie has mentioned she would really like to work with Rihanna on her next album and will probably cover one of her songs soon.

Exciting news for the site! I have recently bought ellie-goulding.org, so now the site can be accessed by going to http://ellie-goulding.org, as well as http://ellie-g.com and http://elliegouldingfans.net !
Also, Ellie has apparantly moved up to number two in the charts, although this has not yet been confirmed.

4Music have contacted me to let me know that Ellie’s latest single, ‘Your Song’ is the VIP track for the week. This means that it will be played on 4Music, The Box, Q and Kiss and will probably be played around 100 times. This is a great way for the song to be noticed even more, and perhaps even get it up to the number one spot that it so rightly deserves.
4Music can be found on freeview channel 18, sky channel 360, and virgin media channel 330. So look out for it very soon!
Ellie, born in Hereford, is probably best known for her number four hit 'Starry Eyed' and her cover of Elton John's 'Your Song'. She topped the BBC Sound of 2010 poll, and won the 2010 Critics' Choice Brit Award. After that her year just got better, with her debut album going straight in at number one. Ellie performed at most of the festivals in the summer of 2010, including Glastonbury! Her final single of 2010, 'Your Song', peaked at number two in the UK Top 40 and 2011 was another great year for Ellie, who released her debut album in America in March and performed at Coachella festival. Ellie was also chosen to play for the royal couple (William and Kate) at their after party to their wedding in April, and even appeared on Saturday Night Live with Tina Fey. She was later chosen to represent drinks brand, SoBe, in the UK. Ellie is set to release new music in 2012, and Ellie-G.com cannot wait!
