Ellie will be releasing a re-packaged version of Lights, containing six new songs. Well, five new songs as well as Lights, which was only available as an iTunes exclusive the first time around. The new version of Lights will be coming out 8th November, and Lights as her next single will be released 1st November. Make sure you have money for then! I cannot wait to hear Ellie’s new music.

Also, well done to Ellie and Greg who completed the Great North Run yesterday morning. Ellie completed the charity run in 1 hour 50, which is excellent! Congratulations you two!

With the nearing of the release of Ellie’s debut EP “An Introduction To Ellie Goulding” in America (21st September) more and more American sites are talking about her, and giving her great press. There is also talk of a full American tour also.
Goulding, who will make her maiden voyage to the US in support of An Introduction To Ellie Goulding, is scheduled to perform in Los Angeles at The Roxy on September 28th and in New York on September 30th at Hiro Ballroom. In 2011 Ellie will return stateside to support a special version of her US full length release of Lights.

Ellie has revealed via Twitter that “Lights”, title track from her debut album, and one of my personal favourites, will be her next single.
Excited to announce that my next single is called “Lights” and is out on the 1st of November.
I can’t wait for its release, and to see the video as all of Ellie’s videos have been great so far.
Also, there will be some brand new Ellie songs coming soon too!

Ellie, born in Hereford, is probably best known for her number four hit 'Starry Eyed' and her cover of Elton John's 'Your Song'. She topped the BBC Sound of 2010 poll, and won the 2010 Critics' Choice Brit Award. After that her year just got better, with her debut album going straight in at number one. Ellie performed at most of the festivals in the summer of 2010, including Glastonbury! Her final single of 2010, 'Your Song', peaked at number two in the UK Top 40 and 2011 was another great year for Ellie, who released her debut album in America in March and performed at Coachella festival. Ellie was also chosen to play for the royal couple (William and Kate) at their after party to their wedding in April, and even appeared on Saturday Night Live with Tina Fey. She was later chosen to represent drinks brand, SoBe, in the UK. Ellie is set to release new music in 2012, and Ellie-G.com cannot wait!
